Extreme inhibitor tolerance for qPCR and RT-qPCR
Inhibitors common in clinical and biological samples can disrupt reverse transcription and DNA amplification, increasing the risk of reduced sensitivity or false negatives. An inhibitor-tolerant amplification system ensures reliable cDNA synthesis and target detection even from challenging sample types. StellarRT-qPCR and qPCR Kits deliver robust inhibitor tolerance for accurate, consistent detection of both DNA and RNA targets, supporting reproducible performance in real-world samples.

StellarTaq for extreme inhibitor tolerance

Figure 1. Stellar qPCR Kits demonstrate broad inhibitor tolerance. Kits were tested against a range of inhibitors and compared to the performance of commercially available engineered polymerase+buffer systems or master mixes. Green indicates a Cq <34, yellow indicates a Cq between 34 – 38, and red indicates a Cq >38. Watchmaker systems consistently show higher success in amplifying the same targets at a Cq below 34 across all inhibitors compared to all other tested systems. Numbers are Cq values, with “-” indicating no amplification detected.
RPA for consistent isothermal amplification over a wide dynamic range
Due to the variable nature of field-collected samples, the ability to detect targets across a broad dynamic range is essential. Watchmaker RPA enzymes deliver rapid and consistent amplification across a wide concentration range, with sensitivity ≤100 copies.

RPA for consistent isothermal amplification over a wide dynamic range

Figure 2. Consistent isothermal amplification across a broad template concentration range. RPA reactions containing a range of copy numbers of a 168 bp target were run for 30 min. A consistently strong end signal was observed for all reactions between 100 and 1,000,000 copies.
