This poster presents data demonstrating the use of the Watchmaker DNA Library Prep Kit with Fragmentation using a standard set of protocol parameters to create libraries from agriculturally important animal, plant and bacterial species. Libraries preparation was automated on a Hamilton NGS STAR MOA.
Highlights
- Single automated workflow successful for animal, plant, and bacterial species
- Consistent performance over 10-100 ng input range removes need for optimization
- Libraries had uniform fragment sizes, high complexity, low GC bias
- Automated protocol supports scalable, cost-effective sequencing for agrigenomics
